Can you camp anywhere in Kings Canyon National Park?
Azalea is the only campground in Kings Canyon National Park that remains open year-round. Crystal Springs is neatly situated between the General Grant Tree and Panoramic Point, about a half mile from Grant Grove Village. It has 36 first-come, first-served sites, open from early July to early September.

Lodging in Sequoia & Kings Canyon is available year-round in parts of the park, and summers only in others. In both cases, overnight accommodations are limited and advance reservations are highly recommended, particularly from spring to late summer.

You can pitch a tent or sleep in your car for $10/night. Restrooms are available. The best options for groceries and food shopping is in the small city of Visalia, just off Hwy 99 on your way into the park.
