you just push the cdi box out of the rubber mount,you do not have to unplug the cdi. their are two screws holding a jumper plate to the cdi box,loosen the screws and remove the jumper plate. retighten the screws and reinstall the cdi in the rubber mount. you might want to readjust the throttle limiter for top speed.
