How do you use Thaumonomicon?
This is a guide to everything in Thaumcraft. To make one, simply create the basic stick/iron Wand and use it (right-click with it) on a placed (vanilla) bookshelf. To make the two caps required, place iron nuggets in the same pattern as you would ingots when making a helmet.
How do you unlock the thaumaturgy tab?
Thaumcraft 4 addes the following tabs to the Thaumonomicon: Basic Information, Thaumaturgy, Alchemy, Artifice, Golemancy and Eldritch tab, which is hidden by default and can be unlocked by studying 1/2 of all researches which add Warp. Addons add their own tabs, usually 1 tab per addon.
How do you unlock Thaumium?
First off, to make thaumium, you need to go through the TC research system and research it to obtain the ability to create thaumium. Once you have done that, it takes 8 Praecantatio in the Crucible, then throw in an iron ingot and 1 thaumium ingot pops out.
What is Thaumometer for?
The Thaumometer is an item added by Thaumcraft 6. It is primarily used to scan blocks and items to unlock new research topics, complete research topics, and gain Observation points in areas of study. Right-clicking with it when looking at an object highlighted in blue sparkles will add points to Observation.
Where is Praecantatio?
It has several common sources: Most plentiful in the early game is greatwood or silverwood logs (and saplings), but if those are not available, it can be obtained from chiseled sandstone, or mossy cobblestone. Once a Nether Fortress has been explored, it can be produced in massive amounts with a netherwart farm.
How do you make Thaumium plates?
The Thaumium Plate can be created by throwing Thaumium Ingots into a heated Crucible, and then pouring that molten metal into a Mold with a Plate Mold. Six nuggets are used in the creation of a Plate, which makes it unable to be used in other mod’s recipes requiring their own Thaumium Plates.
