Mid Lane
Akali is an AP assassin that is primarily played in the Mid Lane. She’s a weak champion and can struggle against ranged enemies before hitting level 5.
How does akalis passive work?
Once activated, you need to weave back in for the attack. Akali’s passive makes her a deadly assassin, just like she’s always been. However, it’s now a lot harder to just jump in and delete someone if you have your ultimate up. Instead, you’ll need to do some work to get that damage out — it’s all about positioning.
Is Akali difficult to play?
Although Akali suffered a lot of nerfs after the huge updates over the course of LoL, it remains an insane, complex, very strong champion and very difficult to play and play against.
Why is Akali weak?
Akali has fallen below a 45% solo queue win rate in the mid lane after patch 11.14 has been released, and the nerfs that led to this drop might be needed just to control her use in professional play.
Is Lich Bane good on Akali?
Yes. Lich Bane can be a fantastic damage booster for Akali if it’s used properly. The item fits Akali’s champion design perfectly, allowing her to empower her basic attacks multiple times within the same fight. Akali can combine Lich Bane with her passive to deal a lot of extra magic damage to her enemies.
Can Akali be played bot?
So after 1k+ games of going Akali mid, i’ve been experimenting with going Akali bot lane, with great success. My reasoning behind this is that bot lane has the greatest chance to snowball, thus making it an environment in which Akali thrives.
